Kim Schneider
Kim is leading the Enterprise Web3 transition at Deloitte. She guides enterprises in implementing Web3 technologies responsibly and strategically. By providing comprehensive strategic advisory services, she helps businesses understand and implement the full potential of blockchain, cryptocurrencies and digital assets. Before joining Deloitte in January 2022, Kim spent 10 years in the financial industry, gaining extensive experience in relationship management, financing, and digital transformations. Over the past eight years, she has specialized as a Web3 expert, working with multiple corporates across different industries. Being able to bring technical insights and business together, Kim co-created with clients to generate new business models and use-cases. The last couple of projects she worked on vary from doing cryptocurrency or stablecoin payments and providing more transparency in supply chains by implementing digital product passports. Kim is a well-known speaker at several blockchain events, training institutes and universities. She has an entrepreneurial mindset and gets energized by bringing people, technology and businesses together. A few highlights of the projects in her career:
- Started the Cryptoboard at Rabobank, to discuss cryptocurrency-related matters in policies with compliance, risk and legal.
- She co-founded and developed an Environmental and Social Impact platform to verify sustainability claims, starting with carbon and nature for Deloitte’s
Mangrove Project, co-funded by the Hedera Foundation. - Set up and developed assets for clients around Unlimited Reality, with Virtual Reality and Augmented Reality.
- Worked for a United Nations entity to set up their CryptoFund and provide frameworks around custody and setting up new policies.
